Here's Ruairidh sporting his new Retro Banz!

Little Jordy Fox (six months) scans the white sandy beaches of Rarotonga, his eyes safely behind his Baby Banz.

"I saw the other photos of customers in your glasses and I couldnt resist sending you one of our baby Finn. He is four months old and is all ready for his first trip to the snow next month with his wee eyes protected! We think the sunnies are the cutest and are SO pleased with them, so thank you so much!" writes Liz McAlevey.

Tonia McNair (11) looks really cool in her JBanz in the Pink Sqaure TV style. Tonia's mum Karen says: "Just the thing to wear when checking your email or Facebook in the Dunedin sunshine!"

Georgia Charvill of Auckland took a break with her family in Fiji during the school holidays and was well protected from the tropical sun in her Kidz Banz Purple sunglasses.

Here's little Zach, six weeks old, walking out with mum Anna along St Heliers in his new Baby Banz. "We love our sunglasses!" says Anna.

Stephanie Hartnell from South Canterbury was one of our winners in our Little Treasures Club Pages promotion in the December/January '09 issue. Stephanie's son Edwin (three) received a set of Banz swimwear; a pair of Kidz Banz Classic sunglasses; a Kidz Banz sunhat and a tote bag - a prize worth over $100! <br><br>Stephanie writes: "Thank you very much for the lovely swim gear! Edwin loves it and he is all ready for next year now - he loves to be outside playing with water, mud or sand all day, if he had his way! "

Here's the coolest kid to rock a buggy! Nate Bartholomew (six months) loves to wear his Midnight Black Retro Banz sunglasses - and his mum Karen thinks he's a cool dude!

Children's eyes not only need protecting from the direct summer sun - with the glare of the sun on the water, it's vital that eyes and skin are shielded at sea, too. Robyn Atkins finds her Baby Banz Pink Camouflage and Pink Floral hat duo are just the ticket for her daughter Jessica (six months): "Little Jessica just loves her Banz out on the boat," she says.

Roz Irwin of Tauranga is a big fan of Baby Banz - she's even willing to answer questions about the sunnies from interested people who stop her family on their walks to ask about her gorgeous twins, Kody and Samantha, five months. "We did the walk around the Mount [Maunganui] and the twins had their glasses on all the time - we had SO MANY people ask about their sunnies! The twins are great advertising for Banz as they certainly stand out!"

Banz sunnies are great for winter sun protection too! Here's Hunter Wilson (eight months) and his dad John skiing at Fox Peak in South Canterbury. Mum Roxanne said: "His Baby Banz were awesome, he was the coolest wee dude on the mountain!"

Bryher Wilson (10 months) couldn't wait to take the labels off her new Pink Baby Banz - she tried them on immediately! "She's a real show pony," laughs mum, Robina. "Bryher has been diagnosed with albinsim, which means very weak eyes, so she has to wear sunglasses a lot. Your product is great and she thinks she is the bee's knees!"

"We bought Hershey her Baby Banz sunglasses when she was two months old. Even then, the sunglasses fitted her well. Now she's six months old and the shades still fit her perfectly! We really love Baby Banz, not just for their good looks but mostly because they protect her eyes. We have recommended Baby Banz to our friends. Here's Judah enjoying his walk in his stroller with his Grandad. He looks like a wild rock-star with his long fringe, bright green Baby banz and "Little Rocker" top. Banz glasses have been a gem in preventing sore eyes especially when the sun strikes low in the late afternoon and the strength of the rays still gets through his pram sun shade. A good invention, as he's kept them on since he was a few months old.

Anne Hines, the Health Promotion & Fundraising Co-ordinator for the West Coast, is a firm believer in sun protection for little ones. Here's her niece in full-on Baby Banz mode - Pink Floral hat and Pink Camouflage sunglasses - she loves her hat so much she even sleeps in it!

Ryan (10) and Ally (seven) show off the Banz gear given to them for Christmas by the grandmother, who works for the Cancer Society in Greymouth. We're proud to support the Cancer Society in their efforts!

Our West Coast retailer, the Cancer Society in Greymouth, knows the importance of playing safe in the sun! Health Promotion & Fundraising Co-ordinator Anne Hines has made a fabulous their office display of sun-smart products, featuring Banz sunglasses and hats for children.

Georgie Vennell (11 months) loved her holiday at the beach in her Pink Camouflage Baby Banz sunnies, Pink sunhat and Banz swimwear - and with her big cousin! Georgie's mum Cathy, who bought a Hard At Play pack, tells us that Georgie was very happy to wear the Banz and started to cry when she took them off to put her new swimwear on - "Wonderful products," says Cathy.

Felicity Iraheta writes: "Here's a picture of my 3 1/2 month old, Isaiah. He loves wearing his Baby Banz while Daddy, Anthony, pushes him in his stroller at the park." Doesn't Isaiah look great in his Black Baby Banz!

"Hmmm, what happens when I do this?" thinks Tim Hamilton (eight months). Tim's at that experimental stage, but at least he - and his mum Sarah - don't have to worry about keeping that Blue Hawaiian Banz hat on!

Josef McGrath's (2 months old) mum Christine says: "Banz sunnies are great for baby Josef as they are light and soft on his head." Here, Josef models his Green Camo pair of Baby Banz.

Jodi (4 1/2) and Josef (2 months old) McGrath (see below) received their Banz glasses for Christmas from mum Christine, who says: "They are great. So comfy that Jodi forgets she is wearing them!" Jodi demos her Pink Camo Kidz Banz here.

Jakob Davy, at six and a-half months, has his first swim in the pool - and fell asleep as soon as he got his Green Camo sunnies on!

Mum Sharon Greig says: "Hayley Greig (13 months) loves her sun glasses. Thank you Baby Banz! We have had many positive comments from people who see her in them. I definitely recommend them."

Lara Nevett (four months) has parents who understand the need to protect her eyes. Writes Sarah: "My husband Anthony is an optometrist so we're well aware of the dangers of sun exposure and I'm also thinking about avoiding those dreaded crow's feet! If we start Lara wearing her Baby Banz early she will get used to them and will wear them automatically every time she goes out in the sun. I think they're good value, too, and will be buying them for all my friends' children when their birthdays come round."

Rochelle Fasher writes: "I just wanted to let you know that I love the Retro Banz I purchased from you and so does my daughter Miela! They were fantastic for Fiji, she kept them on all day every day, and everyone commented on how awesome the 'trendy' sunglasses were!"

Kate Fogarty writes: "Just wanted to say that these glasses are fantastic and even though at first Felicity (14 months) wanted to pull them off and play with them, she loves wearing them now. Although sometimes she pulls them up like a head-band... just like Mummy does with hers!

Here's what Jane Shaw, "a proud first-time mum", has to say about daughter Olivia and her Baby Banz: "Olivia was quite happy with her Baby Banz on, in fact I think she went to sleep quicker when in the car; maybe because it was night time because of the glasses?! She looks super-cute in them so I had to brag and send a picture for you to see."

Five-month-old Ryan Johnson had a ball in Fiji on his recent holiday with his mum and dad, Michelle and David. Says Michelle: "We wanted him to be well protected from the sun, hence our purchase. He seemed to like wearing both the hat and the sunnies and got plenty of admiring comments each time he wore them. The rash suit was great too, with its long sleeves, we're looking forward to getting a lot more use out of all these items come summertime out on the boat."

Jack Little (two) knows the importance of protecting his eyes from the sun right through winter. Jack wears his Kidz Banz in the car, to keep the low winter sun out of his eyes, as well as when out for long walks with his mum in Auckland. Now, at nearly five months, she tells us the boys are "real little characters and both so different it's awesome - they are their own little people". This is Zachary Nathan (eight and a half months) on his first beach picnic at Sailor's Grave, north of Tairua.
